This can happen if the grinder is closed too tightly, exceptionally dirty and/or is exposed to extreme temperatures. The best way to resolve this issue is to place the grinder in the freezer for 12-24 hours. Waaalllaaa! Problem solved! If extremely dirty, soak for 24 hours in ISO alcohol prior.

"I rally want to like this grinder. I have a large gold single layer one. It’s built like a tank. I don’t need a pollen collector. Nice feel to it too. But I have a major issue with it working in real time for me personally. I like fresh herb. And it doesn’t matter how I load this grinder, it all makes its way to the outside perimeter of the grinder. Then it just gums up and seizes every single time. Perhaps if you like dry crunchy herb then I figure it’d be perfect for you. But in my experience it need more teeth to grind with, or it’s the same flavor. Gums up at the perimeter and seizes"
