How to get the grind you want
- Load it right. Break buds into pea-sized pieces, pull the stems, and load loosely around the teeth. Trouble grinding? Use about 30% less.
- Control the texture with turns. Check after two or three turns and stop early for a coarse grind; a few more turns gives a finer one.
- Tap it out onto a tray or paper and roll.

Care and cleaning
With no screen, a 2 piece is easier to clean. Soak the metal parts in 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, scrub with a soft brush, rinse with warm soapy water and dry completely. No dishwasher, bleach or steel wool. Step by step: how to clean a weed grinder.

If you want kief, get the 4 piece. A 2 piece is faster, easier to clean and gives a fluffier grind. See how to choose a weed grinder.
Does a 2 piece catch kief?
No. There is no screen, so the flower stays in the teeth for a fluffy cut. If you want kief, choose a 4 piece.
How do I make the grind finer or coarser?
Fewer turns for coarse, a few more for finer. Load less flower if it feels stiff.
