John: Hey guys, I’m John here with Phoenician Grinders, and today I’m going to show you how to change the screen on your grinder. To do this, you will need the Upgrade Kit, which you can find on our website.

The Upgrade Kit comes with three screens: the standard screen that comes with all grinders, the coarse screen and the fine screen. It also comes with an Allen wrench, an extra screw, our pick, a Lexon ring and two bumpers.

The reason we change the screen is to maximize kief collection based on the moisture content and consistency of your herb. The drier your herb and climate, the more you will want the fine screen. With stickier herb and humid conditions, use the coarse screen.

Changing it is simple. Open the grinder, take the Allen key and loosen the center screw. Remove the bottom part and push the screen through so it falls out. Place the replacement one edge at a time, press around the sides until it is snug and make sure the hole lines up. Put the screw back in and tighten it.

That is how you change the screen on your Phoenician grinder. If you have questions, comment below or message us on Instagram. If you have suggestions for future videos, leave them below. See you later. Thank you.
