The PRO 4 Piece Medium is our everyday best seller and the size most people should start with: big enough for real sessions, small enough for one hand, with a removable screen and kief chamber.

Why it grinds better

  • Patented threadless quick lock. Three locking wedges drop into matching notches and a short twist locks or opens each section. No threads to bind, wear out, cross-thread or gum up with resin, and the tighter you twist, the tighter the lock. A magnet holds the lid on top.
  • Diametrically cut, razor-sharp patented teeth. They engage in a shearing motion like scissors, cutting your flower instead of shredding and smashing it, which helps preserve trichomes.
  • Trapezoidal drop-through holes. Larger than typical round holes, so flower falls through once it is cut to a usable size. Fewer lid turns, fluffier grind.
  • Removable stainless steel screen. It rests on a Fibonacci-inspired spiral brace, held by one center screw, so it can be pulled for cleaning or swapped instead of being glued in. Ships with the standard 300 micron screen; the Upgrade Kit adds fine 180 and coarse 400 micron screens.
  • Beveled bottom chamber. A smooth, rounded kief chamber so kief sweeps out cleanly with the included kief spoon.
  • Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, Type II anodized. A hard anodized finish that resists corrosion and won't chip or flake.

Is this the right size?

Medium (2.47 inches) is the safe pick for daily use. Go small for pocket carry, large if you roll for a group or grind in batches. If you have smaller hands, medium is the sweet spot.

How to get the grind you want

  • Load it right. Break buds into pea-sized pieces, pull the stems, and load loosely around the teeth, not packed in the center. Trouble grinding? Use about 30% less.
  • Coarse grind (joints, bongs): 3 to 5 full turns with the grinder upright.
  • Fine grind (blunts, vapes): flip the grinder upside down and give it a couple of extra turns.
  • Tap it. A few firm taps knock flower off the teeth and push kief through the screen.

Pick your screen for your climate

Screen Opening Best for
Fine 180 micron (~80 mesh) Dry flower, dry climates, cleanest kief
Standard (installed) 300 micron (~50 mesh) Average flower and humidity
Coarse 400 micron (~40 mesh) Sticky flower, humid climates, fastest kief

The screen is held by one screw and comes out clean in a minute with the included Allen key. Full guide: grinder screen micron guide.

Make it yours: the Upgrade Kit adds fine and coarse screens, a spare screw, Lexon ring, Allen key, pick and a pair of Bumper Rings for grip and drop protection.

Care and cleaning

Clean your grinder about once a month (more often with sticky flower). Freeze it for 15 to 20 minutes to collect the kief first, remove the Lexon ring and any bumper rings, soak the metal parts in 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, scrub with a soft brush, rinse with warm soapy water and dry completely. No dishwasher, bleach or steel wool. Step by step: how to clean a weed grinder.

Grinder stuck? Put it in the freezer for 12 to 24 hours. If it is extremely dirty, soak it in isopropyl alcohol first.

The ring around your grinder is a Lexon O-ring for a smooth grind. Keep it on; replacements are in the Upgrade Kit or sold as Lexon Rings.

Questions people ask

Which screen does it come with?

The standard 300 micron screen. Go coarse (400) for sticky flower or humid weather, fine (180) for dry flower or the purest kief. Both come in the Upgrade Kit.

Why threadless?

Threads are usually the first thing to fail on a grinder: resin packs into the grooves and they cross-thread or stick. The quick lock has no threads to clog or strip. More in threaded vs. threadless grinders.

How do I catch more kief?

Match the screen to your climate: coarse in humid weather, fine in dry climates. Tap the grinder after each grind and brush the screen weekly. A dirty screen is the most common reason kief stops collecting.
